2011 AGM
Dear Saints Members
The AGM will be held at 7:00 pm on 30 September at La
Porchetta restaurant on Centre Road, Oakleigh.
All committee positions are open for election this year:
president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary, IHV
delegate, business manager, and up to three ordinary
members.
Please feel free to nominate (financial) members for
these positions, but ask them first if they are willing
to stand; both parties, plus a seconder will have to sign
the nomination form for each position. Download and
complete the nomination form, return them to me by
regular mail.

Nomination and Proxy forms are due no less than 7 days
before the AGM. Members will then be sent a list of
people nominated for a position. If there are
insufficient nominations at the time of the AGM,
nominations will be accepted and voted upon at the
meeting.

Saints Monarchs Presentation Night & 30th Anniversary Celebration
All current and former Saints Monarchs players are cordially invited to the 2011 Presentation Night & 30th Anniversary Celebrations to be held Friday, October 14th at the South Oakleigh Club , 1 Victor Road Bentleigh East 3165 (map directions here) starting at 6pm. Dinner tickets are $35 per person for a two course meal with drinks at club prices. Non-dinner entry is only $10 and can be pre-purchased or at the door. Important: Dinner seat tickets may be purchased only by direct deposit into the club account (NAB account # 516743673 BSB# 083337- Saints Monarchs Ice Hockey Club) by Monday, October 3rd at the latest. Be sure to indicate your name in the reference line of your payment and remember to print off your receipt. For your Hockey Fix...
Write your own player profile page
Write a 2-3 paragraph player profile to go with your photo on the club profile page. Please send your profile text to Bill so that we can add your comments to your pic. You'll then have an investment in the club's website and you can update or change your profile as often as you want by sending us revised content.
New Sponsors Needed
In addition to our sponsorship packages, as part of a new sponsorship drive initiative, for a modest fee we will place your company's logo prominently on our website with a link back to the corporate website. The pricing regime is simple, $50 for a small logo, $100 for a large one (subject to space availability). So open your wallet, or your employers wallet and place an ad on our website today!
